This is an about us section designed to put a face to the voices for the Wounded Spark Saga
PRYDOTH
James - Voice of Prydoth
James is a husband, father, and devoted student of whiskey and craft beer, though he’ll insist the whiskey came first. He has worked as a pediatric nurse for over a decade. A teddy bear of a man (big and burly on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside). When he’s not negotiating bedtime with multiple kids, he’s elbow-deep in some hands-on project: fixing what’s broken, cooking something worth eating, or chasing the perfect audio setup with the kind of research most people save for buying a house. He’s also often beside his very loyal German Shepherd.
He’s played D&D on and off for years, with a string of campaigns that mysteriously fizzled out right as things got good (we don’t talk about it). This time he’s determined to actually see one through, armed with a vampire cleric, an alarming number of lore notes, and a deep willingness to let his character make questionable decisions on his behalf.
Sometimes quiet, listening as much as talking, until someone leaves an opening for a deadpan one-liner. Then it’s over. (Dad joke, anyone?)
Pieces (Rhys) - Voice of Syr
I'm a Husband and Dad to two amazing Kids. When i'm not spending time with my family, you'll usually find me trying out a new craft beer, diving into a board game or video game, or enjoying life on the lake. I believe life's best moments are shared with good people, great laughs, and cold beer in hand.
Syr
Ulfred
Judah - Voice of Ulfred Krallenhorde
Judah is the quieter, more reserved half of a familiar family dynamic; thoughtful, observant and usually content to let his work speak before he does. He hopes to become a robotics engineer and has always been drawn to the process of understanding how things work, whether he is tinkering with a Magic the Gathering deck, carcing and burn-etching wood, or building the foundations of his own homebrew ttrpg campaign. He is an avid animal lover, a dedicated fan of Souls-like and roguelite games and is currently working through a 100% completion run of Bloodborne.
At the table, Judah brings that same patience and quiet intensity to the Hallowed Raven. His Favorite Magic deck is Vivi Ornitier spell-slinger build designed around constant ping damage, which says plenty about his love of layered systems, careful setup, and watching a clever plan slowly overwhelm the board. Outside of gaming, he enjoys working out, misses camping in the forests of the Pacific Northwest and regularly attends punk and metal shows with this family.
One of Judah's favorite independent memories was being given the chance at flying back to Washington to see Metallica alongside both sets of his grandparents, a rare moment that brought several generations of his family together through music. Whether he is designing a campaign, perfecting a deck, carving a piece of wood or imagning the machines he may one day build, Judah approaches the things he loves with quiet focus, creativity and a genuine heart.
Dungeon Daddy
Bryan Gomez - Dungeon Master
I am the creative designer behind Hallowed Raven LLC and the Dungeon Master of The Wounded Spark Saga. My storytelling roots run deep; forged by a lifelong obsession with the cinematic narrative brilliance of Metal Gear Solid by Hideo Kojima, the timeless mechanics of Chrono Trigger, the deep lore of Magic: The Gathering, and two decades spent alongside my wife, partner, and best friend; celebrating the uncompromising, punk-rock cinema of directors like Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino. I built Hallowed Raven to be an unvarnished space where narrative design and authentic passion take center stage, completely free from corporate fluff. Whether I am running a tabletop campaign that pushes players into psychological crucibles to face their internal wounds, analyzing the invisible tension of a David Fincher film, or cracking packs of MTG over homebrewed mead, my goal is always the same: to strip away the polished veneer and celebrate the raw, character-driven grit that makes stories actually matter.
While I laid the bricks for this studio brick-by-brick, Hallowed Raven isn't just about my voice, it’s about building a stage for a real community. As a veteran with a DIY mindset, I know the value of having a space where you can show up as yourself without needing a filter. I created this platform to bring people together and give creators, gamers, and dreamers the freedom to step up to the mic and be the truest, most uninhibited versions of themselves. Hallowed Raven is a collaborative rebellion against sanitized content, proof that when you respect the craft, honor the lore, and give passionate people a place to speak, genuine magic happens.
Welcome to the table.
